A Pocket Guide To ONE Bangkok
There’s a new destination on the scene for shopping, dining and entertainment in the Thai capital
One Bangkok only opened its doors at the end of October, but already it’s become one of the hottest new landmarks in town. Retail therapy? Check. Exclusive dining? You’ll find it here.
One Bangkok itself originally opened as a futuristic living concept, combining offices with high-rise apartments and five luxury hotels (some as yet unannounced), including the long-await Ritz Carlton, adding One Bangkok Retail to complete the picture. It features more than 900 retail outlets and 250 restaurants, along with a diverse range of activities and entertainment such as cinemas, open-air performance spaces and parkland.
Retail spaces are divided into three sections: Parade, The Storeys and upcoming Post 1928, with each containing dozens of shops, boutiques and department stores. Post 1928 has a rumoured opening date of 2026 and will be reserved for high-end luxury shopping, while all three areas will host a constantly changing array of pop-up shops and concept stores.
As for dining, the broad range of restaurants spans fine dining, fast food and street food, along with the first Mitsukoshi Depachika in Thailand, a popular Japanese food hall and supermarket.
On the entertainment front, One Ultra Screens is a cinema like no other, offering personal butlers and private lounges throughout its six cinemas on the fifth floor of The Storeys, and ONE Bangkok will also host live entertainment every weekend. The complex hasn’t forgotten about families either - Mega Harborland Onederland is a 6,000 sq/m playground and entertainment area for children with several themed areas.
