Sail into the holidays at Regent Phu Quoc
Expect festive sailings and cosy Christmas feasting at this coastal resort in Vietnam.
Regent Phu Quoc has festivities well underway this Christmas season, thanks to a roster of exciting activities. Along with a stay in their spacious suites and villas, guests will be able to head out on a festive coastline cruise on the resort’s own catamaran, Serenity.
Best of all, the sailings (which are available from December 16 until January 6) will include activities such as snorkelling, paddleboarding and fishing, along with a freshly made fruit platter and Bento box for lunch. Alternatively, there are also sunset cruises with hand-crafted canapes and champagne, perfect for kickstarting the holidays.
Throughout the Christmas period, the resort is packing its schedule full of activities for younger guests too: painting, cookie decorating, movies and treasure hunts are all set to keep little ones entertained, while parents can enjoy some upscale festive dining.
These include a Christmas afternoon tea at the Rice Market, where the menu explores Vietnamese and wider Asian cuisine. Their current afternoon tea includes sweet treats and pastries with flavours like lemongrass, pandan and starfruit jam, making it one not to be missed. Guests can also opt for a private beachfront cabana dinner with a five-course, festive set menu.
On December 16th, Regent Phu Quoc will also be holding a fun-filled tree lighting ceremony, with a tree that has been handmade by local artisans and was inspired by the sea. For those spending the holidays on a well-deserved tropical island getaway in Vietnam, buffets and special dinners will be served on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve across the resort’s restaurants, including oysters and a set menu at the Ocean Club and caviar omakase at Oku.
Into the evening, there will be a White Party at Beachfront with live entertainment, and a seafood buffet with a local dance show at Rice Market. To see in 2025 in style, celebrations will be held across the resort, with a countdown, live performances and midnight fireworks.
